help! fire went out for ~1hr

I put on 2 8lb pork butts at 5:15pm and left for dinner around 6:30 and came home to find my fire out but the internal temp of the egg was 140. I started the fire back up and was wondering if the meat is still good. Internal temp of the meat was 97 degrees.
Also - I just started the fire and left the meat on the grill, is that going to get some bad smoke due to restarting the fire?

you should be OK if you know it was only an hour. Smoke should be fine now

Good to go IMO. Surface temp never got below 140*
If you just relit the fire without adding more lump you shouldn't get much in the way of bad smoke. Butts can handle a little bad smoke, unlike poultry. I wouldn't worry about it too much. -
Well, when I left at 6:15 the dome temp was at ~210 and going strong and when I got home at 8:30 it was 140 dome so I can only guess when it went out so it has to be somewhere between to 1-2 hour range that it actually went out. I tend to think it'll be ok too, thanks for the quick reply.

actually, the grid temp got down to 108 based on my thermometer sitting on the grill. Is that bad?
