nor your money at Dreamland BBQ in Mobile, AL. The best part was the cold beer and white bread with sauce. They have a decent sauce. Oh yeah, the banana pudding was good too.
Ribs were overcooked to the point of being pork jerky and under"meaty". Chicken was bland and smokeless, at best. Overall, VERY underwhelming.

About the only thing I can order in a BBQ joint since I got my egg is sausage. That is unless it is a BBQ joint ran by a competition team then most things are pretty good. Otherwise usually dry or bland.

I gave up BBQ restaurants since I got my eggs. You'll never be happy. I used to have a couple of favorite rib places. I'll never order ribs out again since I learned how to make Carwash Mike's ribs. They're the best!!

I think jrs in Mobile was pretty good but that was before my egg. I haven been back to Mobile twice since my egg and have avoided bbq for the same exact reasons

Doesn't surprise me a bit. There is only a handful of places I can still enjoy BBQ anymore.

The Tuscaloosa, Alabama Dreamland is the Original one. I haven't eaten any Dreamland ribs since I got my first Egg in 2006. Dr. BBQ book I think "Road Trip" has a recipe that IMHO beats Dreamland Tuscaloosa recipe. Give it a try and you will be putting cash back into your pocket if you know what I mean

it was the money of my company. I'm down here in biz.
I've got the other two Dr. BBQ books...will have to give that one a go.
