Ice storm stuffed chicken breast

Got a ice storm under way here. It started this afternoon and is expected to last for a couple days. Got up early and covered up the eggs.
Started freezing rain around 3pm this afternoon. So I figured I would give some stuffed chicken breast a try.
Three different combos here. Provolone cheese, cream cheese, parmesan cheese, and baby spinach.
I cooked these at 400f with a raised grid. Next time I will go indirect, as the cheese melted and oozed out it caused some bad smoke. I am sure that this is mostly psychological on my part but I just don't like the hint of bad smoke it imparted on the meat. Also will add much much more baby spinach.

great lookin cooks! how much ice did you guys get so far?...sposed to be headed this way (southcentral KY) and starting by midnight
-
so far just a super slick glaze. It's been freezing or below for a couple days so it was ready to freeze. Roads are bad with neumorus accidents. They are calling for around 3/4 to 1 inch of ice before it's over.
-
We're about 2 hrs apart and I'm hoping we only get rain. So far so good, but they are not saying we are in the clear for tomorrow night.
-
good luck maybe it will miss ya'll. I think I am going to just lay in till it melts away.

Man I hate ice storms, all they are good for is power outages. Good luck too ya'll.

Many, Many, years ago, I was stationed at, then, Camp Chaffee (Fort Smith), and, we had a snow, ice storm. My wife worked for the Army and I was in the Army. We lived in FS. Since the the weather was bad, we left for work about an hour early, planning to get there by 8. Small hill between us and Camp. The southerners would gun there engines to get up that hill, and, of course that would end that. We got to work about 10:30. We were both from central Illinois and were used to that kind of conditions. It was funny to us yankees.

PS - lived down here for about 40 years - Haven't seen snow in years. -
Ha ha just a thin glaze of ice or a dusting of snow will bring the state to a stop. Much safer to just stay in... the folks out on the roads go crazy!

"Three different combos"...I only saw two...Bass and St Pauli Girl

That is what should be first on your ice/snow storm shopping list.Forget the milk.

Have to comment on the beer:
1) You're mixing your countries (started with England, then moved on to Germany!) That's a definite party fowel (pun intended) in some parts. Of course some would say wtf Nils, they are both imports!
2) When I mix beers, I typically change between prep and when I actually cook, and then again when its served. Something similar to different wines with different courses
