Quick question on selling used eggs

Has anyone here had any experience selling a used egg?
1. EbaY sales - About what price would a very gently used egg bring? Assuming pick up or actual shipping prices charged.
2. Is there a better venue than EbaY to sell a used egg? I don't see any on there.
Personally, I would think that they hold their value pretty good even though the warranty is voided. I am just trying to help a buddy sell his used egg, and I thought I would ask the smartest people I know. I would buy it, but the wife will not allow a third egg on the patio.

Where is the Egg located and what size is it? Does it come with any accessories?

The warranty is only good on the original purchaser (non-internet sales only) The $1k he is asking for the egg is a bit steep if you want an honest answer. An eggfest demo in Ocala is $580 plus nest/table.
As for used sales, I think word of mouth, craigslist and ebay are you best 3 options. With Ebay, you need to find a local buyer willing to pick it up. -
The egg currently is at Lake Oconee just east of Atlanta, GA. It can be moved easily to Augusta, GA for pickup as well.

Trade her in. Sounds like it is time for a new one.

I bought my egg used off craigslist. I think it's a great way to post stuff for free. You also don't need to worry about shipping; they will come to you. I got my large w/ custom table for $200. Original owner thought it was a medium for some reason. I was certainly expecting to pay much more for my egg even if it weren't a large. :woohoo:

I wouldn't pay more than half retail for a used one in excelent condition.

I have 2 friends interested if the price is right. And we'll pick it up too.

If he is selling and wants top dollar then he will have a hard time. Like anything else you but used then he needs to price it right to sell it. Specially who ever buys it had to spend the money also to pick up. Crags list is the one to start out with like the other egger's are telling you.

Feel free to give me a call if you are interested in a Large Egg used about 10 times and a custom built table for the large. Below is an actual picture of the combo.
