Ground Bison...
I picked up a pack of ground bison from BJs Wholesale Club out of interest and wanted to make a couple of burgers with it. But I’m unsure how to go about doing it... :ermm: should I just use salt, pepper and form patties like I do with ground beef?? Any advice will be greatly appreciated thanks

The biggest difference between bison and beef is that bison is almost always a lot more lean than beef. So if you are going to make burgers, you might want to add a little extra fluid. Mix ketchup and mustard into it before cooking, or add some wooster or teruyaki. If pan frying, add a little butter.
Works great with sauce dishes like spaghetti. -
It needs fats. Zippy, I think regrinds his with bacon. Other than that, same as you would beef.SEE YOU IN FLORIDA, March 14th and 15th 2014 http://www.sunshinestateeggfest.com You must master temp, smoke, and time to achive moisture, taste, and texture! Visit www.bubbatim.com for BRISKET HELP
