Grinding your own burger…

This was a first for me to grind my own beef. Select ribeye’s were on sale. Who will know it's select once it's ground?
Trimmed and seasoned.
Ground and ready for the grill. That was easier than I though for my first time to grind.
Ready to pull…tried to be ginger in handling, you can see them crumbling while cooking. I didn't want to over handle.
Toasted bread. Wifes' on the left, she likes crunchy.
Went low key on the serving, toasted bun, light mayo and the burger..defintely a ground steak sandwich. Typically would have gone more on condiments, but thought I would over power the flavor of the steak. Looking forward to trying other cuts of beef.
Enjoyed!

B-Man,
I'm speechless  I'll bet that was a really nice steakburger, right? BTW, the inside of your cooker is really clean! -
Looks awesome!
Great pics too! -
Very tasty. When I first got the cooker, I'd forget the drip pan every other cook. For the last couple of months I've been very good about the drip pan. I can even read the numbers on the plate setter. However, the inside of the dome looks like a coal mine.LBGE Katy (Houston) TX

You said it so here goes...
You should try the $200/lb Wagyu Beef from Costco and go for the ultimate burger.
Hurry and get back to us on how that goes. :P -
and I'll top it with edible gold flakes in lieu of cheese. :laugh:LBGE Katy (Houston) TX

A little expensive, but a definite steak burger. In hind sight I wished I’d stoked up the temp, 90 seconds or so per side and pulled at medium. I’m going to have to practice, practice, practice…LBGE Katy (Houston) TX
