Any quidelines on deciding what size is best for a 2 person family? Intend to use the Egg for the full range of what we do indoors (meat, bread, pizza, etc.). Is a large too big? Is a large ever too big?

    Frenchie,
To answer your questions -- no and no. Go with the large.

    Frenchie,
First get the large. Then the small. Then the medium.[p]The medium would work fine for your family, but the large will offer you a little more flexibility....and you probably will cook for guests and parties as well...and expect these guests to return over and over again, and begin multiplying in numbers.[p]If the large is within your budget....then get it. Come to the Eggfest in Maryland on May 3rd, and you can get a well-equipped large for $485. Plus it is a great time![p]Good luck with your purchase

    Frenchie,
Start with the large. Most, if not all, the extra goodies are designed with the large in mind. While it might cost a bit more, it's not that big of a step up in price from a medium plus it gives you more options/flexibility. I've had mine just over 2 years and it's the best product I've purchased in a long time, not to mention it's fun to use!

    Frenchie,
just two of us also, but I started with a large for the same reasons already posted here. Iffin you are building your own table do as I did and lay it out for the addition of a small at a later date. That is a terrific combo!

    Frenchie,
I'm a single guy and started with a large, I now also have a medium and a mini. I suggest you get a large if it's in your budget.[p]Regards,[p]New Bob

  • Nature Boy,
Thanks for your (and everyone's) advice. I live in Seattle so getting to MD in May would be tough (although I grew up in Bowie!). Is the deal available before the Egg Fest?...and is it doable by freight? Do you have more Egg Fest info (web URL)?
