cute, but what do I do with them?

For Christmas I was given a dozen of these cute, classy looking little jars. I figure they are meant to be spice jars, but they are small.
They only stand 2.625" tall and my guess is they probably hold 2 or 2.25 oz of whatever. The lid is very tight so that's why I was thinking spice storage. But there a label issue that unless applied to the bottom a label would look tacky. Any ideas?

I suggest you send them to Big'un his Carnivore Sauce is so much in demand he could sell smaller portions to satisfy his desperate customers....

Put them in a rack and put the labels on the rack? Perhaps only use them for easily identifiable spices like salt, pepper, cloves? The Naked Whiz

Do you travel? If so, you could fill them with souvenirs of sand, taken from the beaches that you've visited. As for labeling, use your imagination... etching, painting, stick-ons, or whatever. Make it fun! 8 - )

they didn't come with labels and that's why I was thinking some gum label on the bottom wouldn't show and yet wouldn't restrict usage to only easily identifiable spices. Thing is they were not cheap but $4.25 a pop!Re-gasketing America one yard at a time.

Qtips and cotton balls for the bathroom vanity.

What about putting different kinds of infused oils in them? Garlic-infused. Herb-infused. Hot pepper-indused, and keeping them on your counter near your cooktop?
No need for labels, just go by the color of the oil!
Beers!

How about assorted grated cheeses like Romano,Parmesan, etc.? Or assorted infused olive oil options to choose from.

Missed the 12 part. Don't go with pink. My brother has pink bathroom fixtures - it's interesting. Maybe organize the screws, nuts and bolts by size.

I have a few of them Ron. I mostly get them out when woking. Put the measured indregients in and pour in the wok as needed. Kind of a nice presentation in front of a crowd.

My wife buys spices in bulk and they put them in little plastic cups with lids that don't hold up. If you want to add to your spice rack, find a shop that sells in bulk and buy small portions.
As for the label, use a label printer with the half inch tape in them, Staples for about $20 or up)
...or you can send them to me and I will figure out something to use them for...I always have a half ounce of something going bad in a bag of spices with a paperclip on top...and I already own the label printer.Visit my blog, dedicated to my Big Green Egg Recipies at http://www.bigtsbge.blogspot.com You can also follow my posts on FaceBook under the name Keep On Eggin' or the link http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Keep-On-Eggin/198049930216241 -
I'm changing my response since you changed your original post. I thought about using some for old fashion salt stalls and others for more expensive spices, but the 2 oz limits the use a lot. Anyway I appreciate all the responses and will figure out something to do with all 12 of them.Re-gasketing America one yard at a time.
