So this weekend, I took my stab at Jeff's meatloaf.

The ingredients
My helper...
Loaves ready for the egg. I did mine indirect, roast/smoke at 275 for an hour...
After an hour, I turned them out...a little tense, but I managed ok
Went for about another hour, and sauced at 140 internal, took them off at 160
The family enjoyed, and I'm sure we'll do this again soon.

Glad it came out well, Frank. I'm really pleased with that recipe and will keep it in my active file (actually, my wife keeps track of our favorite recipes, if it was up to me, it'd be hopeless).
Someone recently made mention of the fact that we should not publish copyrighted material. Maybe so, but it seems to me that a recipe or two out of a cookbook will do more to encourage people to seek out that book than just telling folks it's a good cookbook. I've said it before, anyone that uses a grill should have a copy of the Jamisons' Smoke & Spice. -
Thanks again, Jeff. That's why I always post a recipe that I've sourced from someone else, in order to give credit where credit's due. The family loved it, and I find that if I get the kids to help me make it, they always eat it!

Look'en good Frank and I like your helper.
GO HORNS -
Good luck to your Horns tonight. They got hosed, so I hope they lay it to Ohio State. Just don't let my wife hear me say that (dyed in the wool tOSU fan).

Some others think that meatloaf is good. I agree. I have the recipe book, but, I hadn't looked at it that much. You have changed that a bit. Got some things I am going to try on the Egg.
Question --- I may have asked this before - Do you happen to know Tracy & Melissa Hall - It's a reach, because, I know Springfield is a pretty big town, but, you never know. She is my niece. He's a saleman, on the road a lot. I have no idea what he sells.

Gordon,
Sorry, don't know them. We've only been here about 5 years, and we're out in the boondocks 13 miles north of town. -
Just curious.
