I broke A leg off of my place setter some time ago and have not had much luck fixing it. I have been using a firebrick mortar recommended at the local hardware store but can't seem to cure it correctly (comes in a caulk tube, which says it needs to cure at 1400). In the past I've gotten this to hold for several months at a time but the last two attempts have not set at all. Any suggestions for a different type of glue or mortar? Thanks in advance.
