It doesn’t get much hotter than the EGG cookin’ in July! Make sure to keep yourself hydrated with a bit of whatever you’re using for the Beer Can Chicken. Ice Cream Sandwiches are also a great way to stay cool. Looking for some great ideas for a summer cook out? Try out a Pimento Cheeseburger or Dr. BBQ’s Spare Rib Surprise. Just don’t be surprised if your neighbors stop by for a quick bite when they smell what you’re cooking!

I'm somewhere down here in south Texas where it was 78 degrees today. Of course, that may have been Spring Chicken's temperature. Too bad it is supposed to change so much by Monday.

  • Let me take a shot,

When she said she was surrounded by foreign countries we were just a little offended. What would we do? attack Alaska to get more frozen ground than we have already. Our whole military is in Afganistan anyway. Why didn't he ask Condaleeza?

I miss the gumbo in Mobile, although my wife cooks a mean pot of gumbo down here in Odessa. She bought some oysters and shrimp today, baked a turkey and is planning
that Christmas "Mobile style" menu. I'll smoke a pork roast and a turkey on the egg, but my wife's gumbo and a fresh loaf of french bread that she baked will be my feast.

    you fell for fidel's bait.

Tina Fey said it. though she was working off a quote from Palin where she said that you can see Russia from parts of Alaska.

    Thank you stike.

It amazes me how many people actually believe Sarah Palin said that. The media painted her as a moron and many people fell for it.
