Dual Probe Digital Thermometer Recs?

Hey All,
Can any of you recommend a dual probe digital thermometer that also has a remote feature? I found the Maverick ET-7 on Amazon, but the reviews are kind of mixed. Is there something better out there? This is for a gift, so trying to keep the price somewhat reasonable. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Look at the ET-73 - it has one probe for meat and one probe for pit temp with hi and low alarms.
Mixed reviews on that product as well, but mine has been flawless for a couple years so I figure it has been worth the $40 I spent. -
Thanks for the suggestion. Just ordered it. Happy egging.

Not to hijack the thread but....
Could you use the pit probe for a second meat probe. I know there is a difference in the physical design (like the difference between a rectal or mouth therometer)
So what is the difference between an oral and rectal therometer?

Flavor? -
I don't see why you couldn't use them both as meat probes.
If you want to go putting rectal thermometers in your food that's your business. -
You well enjoy the Maverick ET I have had mine for two years and it works great
-
If that is what you want get the et-7.
Since I got my DigiQ's my mavericks have sit here quiet.. -
I still use the Maverick when i use the Digi just in case there is a power outage, a breaker trip, or wild animal attack.

Flavor?
Correct. Just the taste. -
I have the ET-7 and after a year or two the receiver stopped working. The transmitter has a readout so if I wanted I could still use it without the remote feature. I have a single probe Weber that is very old and still works great. I don't know if Weber makes a dual probe, but if they do I would check into it.
