Anybody have any memories of X-mas gift for their spouse that landed them in the Dog House that they would like to share? A friend of mine got his wife a Thigh Master. These should be funny in hind sight.

I can honestly say I have never gone down that path..
I have done some other stupid things like telling my wife her new hair-do made her look butch.. I probably could have gotten away with that, but I shoved the other foot in my mouth when I said it made her look like an Aunt she despises.. It was not one of my more Glorious Moments.. -
If she didn't want a vacuum cleaner. She shouldn't have asked for a vacuum cleaner. Took 4 years and a lot of jewelry to get over that one.
Although there was a birthday that she got a pressure cooker. She wasn't too fond of that either. Now she knows better than to ask for something if she really doesn't want it for a present. -
From a female point of view. I did get a chain saw one Christmas. He also gave me a beautiful Brighton handbag that Christmas to save himself. Needless to say we have both used the chain saw.

Does he still use the chainsaw or is he fertilizing the back 40??

One Christmas I took a chance and got her a Popeil Rotisserie oven. I also got jewelery from her favorite jeweler. She liked the oven. We used it alot but haven't since the egg arrived, but I don't think it is permanently retired.

Labdad is still alive and kicking, fixing stone crab claws for dinner tonight. It was a nice Stihl chain saw and small enough for me to actually use!
