Pizza with adjustable rig?

Had a little accident this weekend ...
(I *knew* when I put it down that I was going to forget it there and knock it over later. Yet. I did it anyway. GRRR.)
So -- I've been wanting to pick up the adjustable rig setup with the spider anyhow. I'm wondering, though, if using the adjustable rig with a small + large pizza stone can achieve PIZZA MAKING EXCELLENCE?
... or whether I need to suck it up and replace my place setter.

I feel your pain.
Suck it up! Buy another one, you know you won't be happy till you do anyway. -
Have Santa put some JB Weld in your stocking and fix it! But the adjustable rig is just awesome!

I have broken most of my pieces parts so far and JB Weld has worked just fine until I could replace them.Visit my blog, dedicated to my Big Green Egg Recipies at http://www.bigtsbge.blogspot.com You can also follow my posts on FaceBook under the name Keep On Eggin' or the link http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Keep-On-Eggin/198049930216241

What do you mean by the adjustable rig? Is there a toy out there I don't know about?
-
Apparently.

It's the bees knees. It's the cat's pajamas. You can't live without it.
Well, you can, but I wouldn't want to. :woohoo: -
If you don't have and adjustable rig & spider for the large you are missin the boat.
Should be required for owning an egg. IMHO.
GG -
As stated above get some JB Weld and epoxy it back together.
Frankly, for me, if I would have gotten the adjustable rig & spider first, I don't think I would have ever gotten the plate setter for the large. Medium & small eggs, for now I do use the plate setters.
Go to walmart and pick up a deep dish SS pizza pan, about $5. I invert the spider and put the foiled SS pizza pan on for indirect cooking. Works great, when done I remove the foil, pan is ready for the next cook. Haven't missed the setter in there at all.
Use the AR & Spider for a while and you will soon be able what you need to do or if you need to replace.
If you find you don't really miss the plate setter then cut the legs off, base glued together and it will still work just fine on the inverted spider.
Just some ideas for ya, GG -
Nice. Alright. Gonna make due til Christmas when a nice new rig set should show up under the tree.
Might try to find some of this high-temp adhesive in the meantime.
