OK - I admit I became a hoarder of lump several years ago when I had no access to a steady supply. I swore I'd never be in that position again. Of course my wife thinks I'm nuts as I keep a stash of at least 360 pounds year around. There is peace in the valley as she's gotten accustomed to what one wall of the garage looks like. Well at summer's end like a squirrel I hid another 10 bags in the trunk of my car. Today I got caught retreiving one from my secret stash!

She just shook her head and went back inside! :laugh:

I also like to use royal oak. I sometimes will just use the lump without adding wood and still get nice smoke. I am down to two bags right now. Guess I better stock up for the winter.

LOL, I need to show that to hubby, I'll seem sane.
I would love to get 20# bags. I grab whatever Smiths has everytime I go. There is no royal oak in the winter here.

Nope thats the place to get it her in SD they dont carry it in the winter so I learned to stock up in the fall

I love Wicked Good products ( no secret to some here) so when the supply of Competition Blend dried up I went out and, with some help from a friend, found about 30 bags of the stuff. When my wife saw it in the shed she wondered aloud if there was something wrong with me.

Ya just never know . . .

Some were, some weren't. That was the day I emptied one pallet and had the lift driver pull down a new one. Still don't know which pallet was US and which was SA.
