Just fooling around with Google Earth today and thought I'd post a pic of my place from somewhere up in the ether. If you're of a mind, please do it with your addy, too.

  • I just did a Save...Save Image and it let me save it as a JPG. Honestly, I was going to create an image today, then I found one had already been saved earlier. That's what you see here.
  • i wasn't able to see my Eggs in the backyard:

    Wolf Compound

All 47 acres of it right down the center of the picture
  • 47? Nice, Pete. Unfortunately, the Google Maps page didn't zero in on your estate.

I built my house 3 years ago but it is not on Google Earth. Even the street isn't finished to my lot as of the date of their photos.

I hadn't checked in a while, I was hoping they had updated in the past few months.
  • Rod,

Mine is there but it's before I owned it and before the fire. I'm hoping they don't update it while I have a dumpster in the driveway.

  • I repeat: Very nice, Pete. A quiet place you can get a little elbow room at.
  • I noticed a few features of my place that have changed, too. It's a big job keeping up with changes all over the planet.

  • I'm starting to feel claustrophobic about now...it seems that everyone here can barely see his/her neighbor!

hey Brad you will like the link to our vacation home better! the pin point did not come through on it to show our place but you can see how close it looks. it really isn't but WOW.
  • I had to back way up (pun intended) a bit in order to take the photo but I'm pretty sure I got all of the Chicken Ranch in the shot.

We mostly stay here in the back .40 where all the action is.

Here's a Street View from Google Maps. Our condo is the 2nd floor corner unit. The tan pillar is the corner of one of our decks. The deck where all of the Egging goes on is to the left - mostly obscured by maples.

  • I think you've got your longitude mixed up, stike...that's 90 degrees west, not east. Too bad...I'm in the mood for some take-out
