Having trouble locating a stone for my med. I think it needs to be 14in. Any suggestions?

go to the bge main website and type in your zip and call your local dealer. if not look on ebay. i just use a pizza pan proped up on the egg feet and its works fine.

14" fits fine in my Med (that's what I got when I asked for pizza stone for a Med).
The 12" bog std one my wife got fits fine too but I haven't dared use it in the egg! -
Big Green Egg sells a 14" stone. Have you checked with a dealer or called BGE?The Naked Whiz

well i am in Vancouver bc and the store is limited in its inventory. Plus the one they had was $75 bucks.
Does the stone need to fit inside the plate setter legs?
Also is 14 in the right size for the med? -
You will likely find ceramic stones of different sizes in inventory at a ceramic supply store. I suspect that the greater Vancouver area has one.

Look up a "kiln furniture" place in your area. They most likely have different sizes. I got one for my XL from such a place and it works great. I think mine was 18", but they have different sizes.
