E B...the only place I found chunks of anything was at either Home Depot or Lowe's. Hickory. The reason I can't remember which store is because they are on the same street about 1/4 mile from each other. I can get chips of all kinds from the Egg dealer. Good Luck.

Thanks Buckdodger i'll swing by there today and see what they have

EB-Lowes has had them up here in PA. Bass Pro, also.

Bosshog,
We have a bass pro shop in Lawrenceville, GA i may check that out also thanks -
I find them at Academy. If Bass Pro has them, Cabellas certainly has them.

I order my chunks online. Have tried seveeral different websites. Fidel recommended this one and they are reasonably priced and shipping cost wont kill ya:

Call the mothership. They stock a variety of different woods, but I don't know if they have chunks in addition to the chips. You can also check with area Ace Hardware stores - some carry them and some don't.
Like Jerry pointed out, smokinlicious has good prices and shipping is included in the price. They are a great source for cherry. -
Fidel,
I have checked out their website and i trying to picture how big is their 1 cubic foot Box in relations to a shipping box perhaps can you provide an idea or comparision to it thanks -
Well, the box is 12"x12"x12". I don't know what you are wanting to compare it to. I guess it is roughly the same size as a 24-can "cube" of beer or soda.
I recommend the double fillet cut since the chunks are smaller - but still roughly 2"x2"x4". Those are good sized chunks for smoking in the BGE. -
I 2nd that Fidel. I received an order from Smokinlicious(based on your recommendation) and everything was great. Nice, uniform chunks(double filet) of fragrant cherry and hickory. I also ordered a mix of chips and couldn't be happier. I used some alder chips on tilapia last night and cherry chunks on a venison stew yesterday morning. Both turned out great!
