...bird on Thanksgiving in the usually cooler and blustery NYC area. Will I be confronted with any unusual problems? The bird will only be a 14 #er so it will only be about a 3 1/2 hr cook @ 350 Dome. Thanks!

depending on how often you open the dome to baste it, it may take a little longer to get it done if its a cold day .. . give your self plenty of time. ...its ok if the turkey is done a good hour to 2 hours prior to your dinner time, just wrap good in foil. .. .better too early than too late .. ..

So a turkey will stay warm wrapped in foil 2 hours? I will also be doing my fist mad max and I feel I will be done too soon.
Is 2 hours the max it will stay warm?
Also, if I do have to reheat, what is the best way?

it will easily stay warm for a couple of hours (maybe more) wrapped in foil. ..i usually keep mine on the counter near the stove where its warm anyway. .. heck, i don't like hot turkey anyway, and i'm gonna be pouring piping hot gravy over it. . . if you want to warm it up more, just stick it in a 300 degree oven for 30 minutes or so just prior to carving and serving. .. .

LOL, CW! I'm not worried about my neighbors. It's the indigenous personnel that always give me pause. My matched Rottweilers, that look after my grandchildren with a zeal approaching mania, that'll keep intruders in line. They even give me some hard looks when the kids are around. Any intruders would stand a better chance with Count Dracula.
