...and added a Small BGE to supplement my Large BGE. In my opinion, they're a match made in heaven.

That's the perfect combo imho. The Large for the entrees and the Small for the sides and portability. You will love the versatility of having two. Mark

They look like they'll be very happy together.

Congrats on your new addition. :woohoo: :woohoo:SEE YOU IN FLORIDA, March 14th and 15th 2014 http://www.sunshinestateeggfest.com You must master temp, smoke, and time to achive moisture, taste, and texture! Visit www.bubbatim.com for BRISKET HELP

Congrats dude, you won't be sorry. -RP

Exactly! Or, the Small for when I'm just cooking some burgers/sausages/steaks etc for the wife and I, and the Large for when I'm entertaining, or doing overnight cooks, etc.
I want to build one of those "Small Transporters" for bringing it tailgating, or camping. -
way to go!! there could be more later
Dave -
Or just keep the small for baking :cheer: then there is no fatty smoke to stink it up :side: I hear cup cakes are all the rage? But really I do try to keep really greasy stuff of the small for just baking

Thanks! And congrats to you on the Apron.

Ha, don't think I can convince the Mrs. that I need "another" BGE...
-
You may have just given me ammo on how I can convince the wife I need yet "another" BGE.
-
LOL use it for awhile and let her use it too. she will want to try other things on it and then want one of her own! LOl Julie

Same couple I have love the combo!
Enjoy!

Congrats! ...but you could have also bought some nice flashlights with that money.

Oh wow, I love your table! Did you make it yourself, or have it made?? If you made it, do you happen to have the dimensions, or any documentation on how exactly you made it?? :woohoo:
-
Hahahaha, I thought I recognized your screenname... Shh, don't tell the rest of the eggheads about my other obsession.
edit: And somehow with that post, I'm now a "senior egger" though I still feel like a junior! -
Ha, somehow I don't see it working out that way... she likes the arrangement we have now. When she wants something that requires grilling or cooking out, she just says the word and I get all happy and giddy to use the BGE... and she doesn't have to do a thing.
-
A friend (more creative and skilled) made it, I'll see if he still has sketches. We took the idea from one on Naked Whiz's site.

Awesome, I appreciate it. Don't worry about it if it's a hassle! No biggie! My Dad and I are just brainstorming right now... (he's the creative and skilled carpenter, not me!)
For the time being my eggs content in their nests. -
Beautiful couple. You know when the two "get together" you may find a Mini in your future.
-
They use official BGE "protection"... I'll have to go look at the label, but doesn't BGE claim their "covers" are at least 99.9% effective...
