OT: burning bush in it's glory

This is a large 20 foot tall burning bush in our front yard. Two years ago when we had the yard re-landscaped the designer wanted to grub this out and I wouldn't permit such nonsense! This is a thing of beauty and is now 30 years old.
Re-gasketing America one yard at a time.

The designer reminds me of the townfolk of Mayberry who wanted to cut down the 300 year old oak tree in the episode where Hollywood comes to town.

Big fan of the burning bush, this one is about 15 feet tall & in my backyard, I liked it so much I just installed 6 two-footers out front, beautiful plants they are:

Thats a beatiful tree. We planted a small one a few years ago. Its not growing very fast.

They are slow goin, I have another one in my front yard that was a few feet tall when I moved in 10 years ago, it has about doubled to 7 feet tall in all that time.happy in the hut
