Well, sometimes I screw up and pray that it still tastes good. Does that count?

Here's the wording that goes along with that --

Middle Egyptian: A King's offering to Osiris, the Lord of Busiris, the great god, Lord of Abydos -- a ritual offering of bread, beer, red meat, white meat, alabaster, fine linen, sacred oils, provisions and of all other pure and wondrous things a god needs in the next life...

    Yes you do...

  • I recently cooked bacon, eggs and pancakes on a gasser. Does that make me a sinner? A Throwback? Or just a Pagan?

Have to agree with you. :S
But -- sorry, I have no way of posting glyphs -- :(

    Am limited to transliterations...

But glyphs are so much easier to read...
Are you who prefers left-to-right, or right-to-left... or top-to-bottom?

On very old stelae, the writing just starts and wanders up-down-and-all-around! :silly:

i fancied myself a budding egyptologist when i was 11-12. when the whole "tut" thing hit the US.

studied glyphs as much as a 12 year old kid could, in a small nh town in an age before the internet. which is very little.

    but i tried!

essentially, i found some erroneous stuff in an article that was no more than a system of substituting a specific glyph for a specific letter in the english alphabet. ooops. what the heck did i know.
