Got my large in June and have been trying to get on this site ever since. Administrators say it should work. I'm on here as a browser all day, every day. Great folks, great enthusiasm and great info.

I've done baby backs up the wazoo, spatch and half cocked chicken, steaks, beef tenderloin and a great chili I got from the Eggtoberfest 2007 cookbook. It took a first in an informal chili throwdown my son entred at a a big party. 10 entrants, all guys he grew up with.

Located in a town called Hawthorne, less than 10 miles west of the GW Bridge. New Jersey is really quite beautiful once you get out of the industrial part of the of the state consisting of Newark and the oil refineries along the NJ Tpke. You have mountains in the northwestern part, beaches "down the shore", rolling farmland in the south (Garden State). Plus some of the most expensive suburbs in the country. Haven't had an earthquake, volcano, mudslide or perpetual brush fires ever. You just have people with a sense of humor and a Jersey attitude. Was born, lived and will check out from New Jersey.

I am sorry, but I have a New York Attitude hehehehe Lived in Upstate NY most of my life. I got the same jokes, then I moved South..
I actually know Jersey quite well. I was stationed in Eatontown for 3 and half years. Lived in Little Falls and worked in Rutherford. Had in-laws (first ex) around Washington and Flanders.
I assume the handle means you are a Fly Fisherman?

Welcome, I am also New Jersey born and bred. Out in Hackettstown, pass through Flanders everyday to get home. Wish it wasn't so expensive to live here but I believe I will also stick around but you never know. Take lots of pictures and ask anything you need, everyone is very helpful and friendly.
