'Twas mighty fine.
From yesterdays BBQ;
Ready for pulling apart.
Second smoking.
Looks done to me. All I gotta do is stir it up and plop some on a bun.
Time to eat then sit back and be happy.
I gotta make this for Eggtoberfest next year.

Search for Clay's pulled beef recipe. It is absolutely terrific!
I wish mine turned out half as good as Clay's looks. -
Clay Q,
That looks mighty good. How is the flavor, guessing pretty good if you want to do it a the fest.
Congratulations.

Wish I could be there this year. Next year it's a go.
I would make Hodags first then just re-heat a frozen bag of my pulled beef BBQ and throw them samitches to the hungry masses  .....well, hand them out.
And in the afternoon I'll start making and sharing 'Wet' martini's, Pearl olive included and give WessB a little compitition during the happy hour.
We will make a toast to the egg like we did at Eggwegofest! Hope to see you, Filly and AZRP next year along with all the other eggheads. -
Thanks Chris.

Flavor is mighty. The great taste of beef with hickory smoke and sauce come together for somethin down home and special. It's a party pleaser.
-
Thanks. Your samitch looks great to me.
Glad you enjoyed the recipe! -
Wowwww Clay......last is one of those photos that is so good you can taste it.... what meat did you use??
-
Good ol chuck roast. I use boneless and well trimmed choice arm or what's called English cut chuck roast.
Here's a picture. Got 11.5 pounds on that platter.
Recipe is in the BGE recipe file under beef or you can go to
www.dizzypigbbq.com for a pictorial with the recipe under customer recipes.
Check it out, I know you love the great taste of beef. -
Hey Q-dog, made this for football yesterday. I also made pulled pork (very good) but the beef was the bigger hit by far.
