Beat Down on Saturday night. Roll Tide. :)

  • Sorry Bama,
Black-out is upon you! Get ready for the loudest, rowdiest dawg crowd you've ever seen! My prediction......Dawgs 28, Bama 13

Roll back to Tuscaloosa with you're tail between you're legs! :woohoo:

Hey Bama, I think you guys may be in for a long night. However I do think it will be a very good game. Two of the best teams in the country for sure. I like C Tredwels prediction and hope it goes down that way. But in my Pigskin Pickem League I am considering taking The Tide and the points. I predict 24-20 Dawgs.

PS. The Tide is my second favorite team. One of the sweetest moments in NCAAF History was the 1992 Thumping of Miami in the Nat'l Championship Game.

    Pat, I like you anyway....

I would LOVE to be at the game. Obviously its the biggest of the week. The ESPN Gameday show will broadcast live from the Stadium, from early morning to late evening. Theres a little nip in the air. Man, this is what its all about.
You rarely if ever get that type atmosphere at the L.A. Coliseum.

I agree with you, this is what it's all about. It has been a long time since Bama has been in the hunt.
  • I sure would like to get in on this but since I am from Arkansas , Razorback Fan, And what happen last weekend I think I will keep my mouth shut and wait till next year

I usually want the team that beats my team to also beat everyone else.

  • Yea me too. I also have a sister in Mobile that is a hugh Bama fan. The only time I don't for Bama is when they are playing Arkansas..

JPW will spend some time on his back Sat night.

The Georgia defense is a pack of mean Junkyard Dawgs.

Some of the pollsters need to learn that the SEC defenses will shut down a team, even those of well above average skill.

    What else is new?
  • Tell it all, brother Chris! I can't wait to go to this one. Are you going?

haha, you must have forgotten what happened to you last year. Repeat.
  • As the strength coach said today,,,,they are wearing black because we are heading to their funeral!

  • BamaFanBamaFan Posts: 658
    Not the same team.
  • BamaFanBamaFan Posts: 658
That's a nice version. Roll Tide
  • UGAVETUGAVET Posts: 577
    neither are we.
  • Nope, the strength coach said it Monday PM. Speaking of who is wearing what: I hope the Bamers wear those adorable houndstooth hats that are so 30 years ago.
Psst: The Bear is Dead ;)
  • What atmosphere are you refering to, the fact that the fans in southern california don't have missing teeth?
  • Nope, he was referring to the USuC women that lose their virginity at 8 and the "Men of Troy" that openly practice man-love in public.
  • UGAVETUGAVET Posts: 577
    haha, well said
  • UGAVETUGAVET Posts: 577
i will be in sec 115, GO DAWGS!
  • Oh, I see. The usc women who lose their virginity at 8, and not to their brother or uncle. I understand what he was talking abour when he said...ur meant atmosphere.

I heard Beeno Cook yesterday say that if there are multiple undefeated Teams at years end; such as USC, Georgia or Florida, & Oklahoma......USC will be left out of the big game due to a weak resume.

Speaking of which, the Trojans have had almost two weeks in preparation for the big "Beavers" game tonight. Good luck!

you had to mention the 1992 championship game didn't you Ron???? :(
  • BacchusBacchus Posts: 6,019
Sorry Kim, nothing against the Hurricanes here.
I just remember vividly how no one was giving the Tide a chance going in. I was at a party surrounded by Miami fans who were laying it on thick before the game. I just sat there and smiled during the game.

Brad, I know you will have a great time at the game. I am definately jealous of you and Teddy.
Make sure to get something good to egg on Sunday for the celebritory meal.
  • Funny thing when usc goes into the NC game, which is often, there are never any doubts who will win other than the ever so envious usc haters.
