My wife found out about a cook off that was going to be held at Cooks Warehouse in conjuction with Wordsmith Books and BGE with the judging being done by Steven Raichlen author of The Barbecue Bible.
I cooked drumsticks that had been marinating for 24 hrs in an island mango marinade. Never entered a contest before, didn't know what to expect.Cooked my chicken perfect and promptly put it in the nice little white starofoam togo box they gave us.
Long story short got third major point lose to presentation(or the lack of)
