I live in the midwest and it is getting towards the end of summer, fall and winter are coming fast and furious.
Does anyone know if the BGE ever goes on sale in the off season?
I am going to purchase, just thought i would wait until grills go on sale around here to do it if they do go on sale.
Please let me know.

I think that would be up to the individual dealers, but I don't think so. I know one guy who got a deal on his Egg because it was a showroom model that had been used for demos.
I have never heard of the Egg going on sale except for the one time when one dealer accidentally had too many mini's delivered back at the beginning of August. -
Off season?????
My egg doesn't know what that means... -
Asked and answered in a thread that appears only a few posts below yours:

Short answer is no, they do not typically go on sale, but discounts are available at various eggfests. -
I don't think there is an "off season"!! I cook year round, as do most eggers around here!!

That depends more on the dealer than anything else. My dealer tends to do a spring sale just before Easter; discount is between 20 and 30 percent.

I think it would be totally up to the dealer. The dealer I buy from in NE Ohio does.

my dealer in columbia sc. says no because there mark up is not that much so they can"t afford it...

I just bought my BGE last weekend and got an end of season deal. The basic BGE package plus a plate setter, ash rake, BBQ sauce & rub for $750 including IN sales tax of 7%. That nest to a before ST price of $700. Shop around.
