Here in Gulfport, we felt fortunate to miss the brunt of Gustav's wrath. Our hearts go out to those in Louisana who got hit much, much worse.
This evening I fired up the small and did a couple of strips for my sons and a flank steak for Angel and myself. It felt mighty funny seeing the small all by it's lonesome in the cook shack. I'll be pulling all the other grills out of the garage tomorrow, but tonight we'll be satisified with sitting in an empty cook shack, smoking a cigar and celebrating another storm weathered.
I did here from Bob Bullard (BobbyB. He said they came though the storm fine and he was sitting in and empty Bullard Hen House smoking a cigar.

Got an email from him this morning. Sounded like he faired well and is planning a trip to Pensacola for the Beer Fest down there. -
yep yep. all good here. my house and rentals all faired out well with no damage.
i'm watching this other storm making sure it isn't going to miss my beer fest plans.
