We hope you all got to celebrate those tasty food holidays last week, we sure enjoyed them! We are even more excited about the beginning of fall, for so many reasons, but mainly for experiencing the cool, crisp air while being outside cooking up the best recipes the season has to offer. We're ready to do some tailgating. Wings and stuffed fritos to start.

Will put a rock and the feet under it before firing it up.

We're geauxing to tailgate our little selves over to Houston and visit our lads. No sense hanging around here for Gustav. Hope to have a dry house when we get home. The trip was planned anyways for labor day weekend - we'll just stay a little longer till we get the all clear.

Dropping off some speckled trout and who knows what else at "The Coop" on the way. Looking forward to meeting Spring Chicken, Spring Hen, and Rodney Dangerbird. :)
