I just cooked some chicken @ 325 for about two and a half hours, after about one hour fourtyfive min I put it on the grill extender and added six ears of corn to the main grill. The chicken cooked fine but had a taste like the corn husk messed up its flavor. ever happen to anyone eles or was it something eles maybe?

Should have put the corn on the extender. The smoke from the husk would have gone up and out the top vent.

I used to always cook my corn in the husk and then got persuaded to try it naked. I'll never do it in the husk again. The flavor is great and you can get some beautiful color from the carmelization (just don't let it burn) if you are attentive.

I second BigDaddy's statement. I cook corn around 400 dome temp, direct, for around 10 minutes.

Thanks for yhe input yall

Thanks for the tip on the "naked corn", I'll try it that way next. I egged chicken breasts at 400 for 25 minutes, put the corn on at the same time. Both were done at the same time and WAY better than our usual microwaving.
