It doesn’t get much hotter than the EGG cookin’ in July! Make sure to keep yourself hydrated with a bit of whatever you’re using for the Beer Can Chicken. Ice Cream Sandwiches are also a great way to stay cool. Looking for some great ideas for a summer cook out? Try out a Pimento Cheeseburger or Dr. BBQ’s Spare Rib Surprise. Just don’t be surprised if your neighbors stop by for a quick bite when they smell what you’re cooking!

I was going to use the 3m 77 spray but decided it is real messy to use.

I found Loctite Clear Silicone Adhesive.
Cured temperature range is -50F to 400F.

Is this ok stuff to use?

How hot do you take your Egg? Many regularly do steaks at 600-700, and pizzas nearly as hot.

I used a RTV 600* silicone adhesive. I imagine the Loctite will work, but I decided to go that extra step to minimize risk of gasket issues.
