How T Adjust Temperature
Steve
Posts: 1
I just got my large egg yesterday and used it last night for the first time. The food was great but I'm trying to learn the best way to adjust the temperature. Do you leave the bottom door fairly wide open and the close down the top door for low temperatures or should the bottom be small and the top wider. What is the recommendation for keeping the grill at 225F? I closed both doors quite a bit yesterday and almost put out the fire

Atta' boy!
The forum needs you old guys to keep everything on track.
I hate to say it but, your explanations are quite good. Very simple and easy to read. Why Jeff, you could be a feature writer for the Globe.

Welcome to the club! I'm learning the temp thing, too.
Here's my medium vent and daisy wheel with a dome temp of 250--couldn't get much less air flow.
