Thought "IGOR" my pool guardian would keep the rain away.
Even offered a live sacrifice, but to no avail.
The Lake is up about 5 feet in 36 hours and still raining. Abaout 74 house around the lake. Most of the green grass is under water.
I have drained about 12-15 inches out of the pool since yesterday am.
Wish this dog would go to Georgia where they need it.

Sometimes I see a gator eating a 18-24 inch carp.

Yes it is clean, however you don't have to go clean a garage out when it is over in a rental that the tenant said 4 hours ago had 3 inches water in it. Fortunately have flood insurance on that house.

The Suncoast dodged the bullet which unfortunately bought misery to you. Hopefully it will soon be a bygone! Keep your spirits up and your BGE's burnin'!!

Where did that sun come from?? I'm only 20 minutes from you and wind is still 40 mph plus. Rain has not stopped in over 24 hrs.

Just took this from my front porch.

I can report that relief is on the way. Still cloudy here in West Palm but there has been no significant rain since coming to work this morning.

I only have 3-4 miles with 50-75 houses, however since my original post the lake is up another 6-8 inches and still raining in the area.

That IGOR seems more like TLALOC...The Aztec Rain God......have you tried sacrificing any live viegins?? -
At my age 64, my friends don't let me near the grand-daughters. I was told 12 years ago when I acquired "IGOR' and his friends that they were from Guatamala or some where in that part of the world and are BBQ cooking units. Can not find anything on the Google. Any ideas? TIA

All Central America starting in souther México was populated by The Maya including Guatemala.....
these are typical Mayan masks from the region
http://www.latinamericanstudies.org/mayan-masks.htm
Aztec masks are out of the question too, and this was the largest prehispanic empire
http://www.latinamericanstudies.org/aztec-masks.htm
Olmec masks are different too but their domains stretched to the north of Guatemala
http://www.latinamericanstudies.org/olmec-maskettes.htm
Teotihuacan Masks are different also
http://www.latinamericanstudies.org/teotihuacan-masks.htm
If you ask me all the above are the very basic and representative prehispanic cultures and their masks are very diferent to IGOR
Now, This are Easter island monolites, which I think resemble IGOR a bit more specially the nose Y head shape
http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.world-mysteries.com/easter_island_04.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.world-mysteries.com/easter_island.htm&h=428&w=291&sz=33&tbnid=MQ_ox6_4nJLroM:&tbnh=126&tbnw=86&prev=/images?q=easter+island&um=1&start=1&ei=YcqsSJ7rMIHWgQKNn6mDCw&sig2=b-sXDbI4k5mDn2S_BzYIdQ&sa=X&oi=images&ct=image&cd=1
Even Polynesian masks could be closer with their rectangular shape.
Any way, hope the rain has stopped and if not, it is time yo change IGOR for a more benevolent GOD.
