Joined the wing cooking club, he he. For dinner made roasted Wisconsin sweet corn and drank ice cold beer and for starters I made little chicken finger appetizers you see here. Apple wood smoked then up on a raised grid at 400 with a sweet-n-spicy jam sauce to finish. ooooh yeahhhhhhh

Looks nice. What or where did you get the sweet-n-spicy jam sauce?

You sir not only cook a nice looking wing, but have a good eye for photography. That gorgeous shiny bright red/orange wing with the dark green backdrop of the Egg.
A+ for use of contrast. -
Gorgeous wing. Beautiful image.
Lunch time yet?

It's home made hot pepper/apple jam.
-
Nice looking chicken. I can taste it from here.

A buddy gave me a jar of his hot pepper/apple jam. Really not that hot but has a nice warm and sweet kick.
Made with habanero peppers. Thought it would be 5 alarm but was 3. Just right for me. Warmed it up the monkey-wave and brushed it on the last 5 minutes.
Lip smacking good. I have made spicy tomato jam, just ate the last jar and it's good on wings, family loves'em.
By all means start canning. I got into it and really enjoyed putting up jams, jellys and pickles.
Been just too busy this year to do it. Might try later on when the apples are in. -
Thanks.
Going to my first eggfest in Sept. :P Perhaps I can cook up a batch of wings there. -
Those wings look mighty tasty! Did you egg your WI corn?
-
You bet, all the time. This pic from a previous corn roast. In the husk, no soaking in water, direct for about 20-30 minutes, that's how I do'em. Love the aroma of toasted corn husk drifting from the egg.
I'll eat 2 or 3 and with wings it's a full meal.
