After spending the morning in the heart hospital getting test after test and a healthy dose of radiation in my veins, thought maybe it's time to start eating more fish. Swordfish steaks with olive oil and Old Bay seasoning.
Rosemary and garlic potatoes and corn on the cob as well as some herb and lemon pesto, delish. -RP

I put parsley, thyme leaves, basil, garlic cloves, toasted pinon nuts, capers, salt and pepper, in a blender with the juice of a lemon. Fired up the blender and drizzled EVOO in until I got the consistency I wanted. Man, it really matched up well with the swordfish. I ended up putting at least double on that was in the picture. -RP

Please tell me I don't have to worry about you too. I hope the tests were preventive and not due to you feeling any pain. Love ya too much.

Hey there Dianne, where you been? We won't be in MN this year, going to the IL event though. Say hi to Doug. -RP
-
wow... that looks spectacular. wipe drool from screen off to the fish market tomorrow.
-
Thanks mom, but I switched doctors after 25 years, and the new one is pretty thorough. He sent me for a calcium scan and I failed, so nuclear stress tests were in order today. It is all preventative, and thank you for caring. -RP

Whew...I can sleep good now....nighty night.

Well you know the rest!!
EvansI spent most of my money on good bourbon, and bad women...the rest, I just wasted!! -
Good looking fish Randy.
Unfortunately I'm on that wagon with you. Much less red meat here :( -
Great pic dude! Got my mouth watering and I just barely finished eating. -RP
-
Hope all went well with the tests. Isn't fish the other white meat.

Being a southern boy from coastal NC flounder is best fried. Had a pound or two of it that way this past week. Added five pounds back after my losing streak.....back to the big bag of veggies.
I think I'm gonna hit Sam's or someplace better to see what with fins they have for grilling this weekend.

Oh yea, by the way good lookin' grub.

Nice grill marks, Randy. Swordfish is one seafood my wife will eat...she liked your pics, too.
I'm getting along in years, too, and I'm worried the cardio test will thaw mine out. -
Thanks man, you're alright for a Sun Devil. -RP
-
I won't begin to tell you how I worried today...too many imaginations....
Kim -
he's on the "Red meat" test wagon. I'm practicing on the throw down with MADDMAX for the Atlanta after party. Gotta make that meat the best.

Gaaaaaah!
Heal thineself, brother!
Here's wondrous thoughts wafting your way --
-
Excellent dish, RP! I like Old Bay on seafood, and I think that last batch of salmon I did on the cookers was with some Old Bay on one piece, Tsunami Spin on another piece, and some Konriko creole seasoning on another. Did that just to see if the wife could tell the difference
Hope you're OK. My wife cares for open heart patients in the ICU, and I'm just pulling for you and your family.
Take care, -
Thanks for the smileys. -RP

Is that the cast iron grate set just above the fire ring? What temp and how long? that fish is smokin! Swordfish is one of my favorite, especially for grilling cuz of its thickness.
-
That's the cast iron grid on the small at the fire ring level cooking direct. -RP
-
About 500 dome temp. -RP
-
Randy,
That looks like a heart healthy meal to me!
