A buddy and I have been talking and we're going to try to make it to Eggtoberfest and do some cooking. Looking at the info for all of the egg-fests it looks like you register, pay a small entry fee, and then just show up with whatever you want to cook.

Eggs, charcoal, etc are provided? Anything else to know?

The eggs are provided as well as lump and starter cubes. The cook is on the saturday and there is a meet and greet on the Friday. You need to bring your serving stuff, tongs, napkins etc. Other than that it's pretty much as you said

In the past there has been no fee if you are cooking. Just register and show up in the morning with your food. Lump is provided as well as the Eggs. You need to bring anything else you need to cook with. -RP

Are plate setters available for use or should we bring one?

I needed a platesetter last year and they provided one for me. I had to turn it it after using it so I wouldn't be charged for it.

Randy, do you do all of your prep before and just bring gloves to handle food and keep cleanliness.

I know some things have to be done on-site, but trimming chicken has to be a pain.
