Personally, I bought the Lotta Bull at one of the BGE mothership classes and really have liked it on chicken wings and would like to try it on a could other things.

It is pretty mild but mighty tasty.

2 that I have not read about on this forum:
Weber's BBQ rub is very good. I usually use DP and was extremely pleased with Weber's. I paid under $5 at Sam's Club.
I also like the rub from 17th Street Grill out of Illinois. Salty but I love it on Ribs. I use it with their sauce.

Strawberry's Shake-on Bar-B-Que Seasonings is what I have been using for years. I think you will love the taste. ee link below. JD

There are a few rubs I've found that I like as much as DP's. The Spice House of Chicago has one called Bronzeville Rib Rub that goes very well with ribs. They also have a newish one called Smokehouse seasoning that works pretty well. It has sort of a cheat ingredient, "powdered hickory smoke." The rub has a good flavor, aside from the "smoke," and works well to impart a faint smoke flavor without smoking wood.
Walkerswood Jamaican jerk is good, if very pungent.
If you have a local Asian food store, try some garam masala. Every brand is a little different, but most work well for "red" meats. I've used some as a base for butt rub, and have been happy with it. -
Blue Smoke (Ken Stone) makes some great rubs also. I am particularly fond of his Witchy Red on pork.

Buy raichlens Sauce and rub book and make your own, its real easy it also tells you how to creat your own personal BBQ sauces and rubs.

I love all of the DP rubs that I currently have. Still a couple that I haven't gotten yet. This week I got some John Henry rubs that are wonderful. Pecan on pork chops :cheer:
