Cover shrinkage?

(To use a Seinfeldism). Is it possible that the BGE cover shrinks? After two years it seems like it's a lot harder to get the cover on my large than it used to be. Maybe the Egg just gained weight from all that good food. :laugh:

You know Shakey?!! HE used to live i Brookline or Newton and used to cut on the bias.
Great guy but I asked him one day what he did with all of those schmeckel trimmings.
He said they sent the Israel where they put them on hot rocks in the desert where they grew into Boston Cops! -

Vinyl covers for my Weber gasser would only last 2-3 years out in the sun before they shrunk to the point where they'd no longer fit. My local dealer has replaced them at his cost but that's not the real solution...
