Apple Pie Pizza

Had five apples and a Mama Mary's pizza shell in the fridge today. May as well put something together.



Here is how it was put together

Apple pie pizza
5 apples
3/4 cup fine sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Bake apples at 350 for plus or minus an hour

Peel, core, and slice apples. Mix apple slices with sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Place apple mixture on pizza shell.

Place strips from three thin slices of sharp cheddar cheese on pizza

Cover with crumpled topping

Crumpled Topping:

3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon sugar
Dash salt
1 tablespoon butter, at room temperature

Combine the flour, sugar and salt in a bowl. Using a fork, cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle over top of pizza.

Indirect at 550 until it’s done

A scoop of vanilla ice cream would have been right at home on each slice,
