Greenwood, SC BBQ Festival

My wife, Ginny and I just got back from the Greenwood Festival and I wanted to say thanks to team Bobby-Q & Jus-Fer-Fun.

Their hospitality was terrific and their food even better. After sampling some food from both teams I know I would not want to be a judge as it would be to hard to decide which was best....now as far as boiled peanuts there is no competition... :P Thanks Sam

We did not stay for the results so here is hoping all the BGE teams did well.

We did see the other all Egg team but it was close to turn in time so we just waved as we walked by....

Sam does do some mean boiled peanuts. Last year at Eggtoberfest, he was not there. So, my Dad showed up with some. I don't think he got as warm of a feeling like Sam does with his. Have to learn not to step on others territory.

My uncle has been a S Ga peanut farmer for most of his adult life, so he knows how to do boiled peanuts. I told Sam I have never had any better peanuts anywhere...and I meant it.

oh and their competition food was great also....LOL
