First Butts on my Egg?

I have two 7.5 lb butts that I am going to cook ( indirect), they are for tomorrow. I have the rub on them and in the fridge wrapped in glad clig wrap. BB Ribs are going on the egg at 11:00am tomorrow. Have a remote cooking thermometer and shooting for 195 degrees. I want an idea on egg temp and time?

250* dome temp.....probably in the 12-16 hour window for the butts.

Since we're talkin' about first butts, I'm cooking my first two as well. I only have one Polder thermometer and two butts(8.5#'s each). Can I use it on one butt and trust the other to be the same temp, or close?
Happy 4th! Leebo57 -
I am in the same boat one thermometer two butts. This is not good. Here what thirdeye poasted on the web site below. I will move the thermometer probe when I get close.
REMINDER: It is not uncommon for two butts of the same weight, cooked side by side, to finish at different times, sometimes an hour or two apart.

Thanks Fireball II,
After the temp alarm goes off on one I may try sticking the Polder in the other one.

I've done that, and will do it again tomorrow with four butts and two thermometers. I put the probes in the larger of the butts at each cooking level to get a 'worst case' reading...if the larger is at 195, I can be pretty sure the smaller is there, or higher.

LOL two 7 pounders on and no fancy stuff. just trusting the large to do its thing like it has so many times before. all is pretty right now and hopefully it will not let me down this time as if for the family picnic tomorrow. we said we were bringing the med to do cinn roll and abts and red onion pizzas. My sister informed me to get a life it is only a grill and they have one we can use at their house. I asked if it was gas she said you know it is. LOL the med is packed. they just don't get it. YET  julie
