My fellow Eggheads. I beg your forgivness. It's been 9 days since i have Egged  . Summer is so hectic for me with the farm and ridding season but never fear fall is just around the corner and you all will be sick of me again. I can tell I have not been active enough as there has been no contreversity associated with me in over a month. I will try to remedy that soon!! Going to do a few cooks this week end then work and OT next week and week end then vacation for two weeks out west on the Hog. Tonight some parmasian and basil yard bird breast (easy bill, chicken breast hear :P )
Jake with the basil, garlic, salt, EVOO, cracked pepper and salt.
I simi seared at 400 for 4 min. a side then removed and added the marinade.
Finnal pics in a bit.

Good looking cook JL. I was thinking about posting the other day if someone had kidnapped JLH. Good to see you back.

Don't worry, we know that your wife was hogging your egg. :woohoo: Glad you're back brother(and Jake too!).

  Good to have you back....alive & kicking. How was the ride???
-

i better turn in before i get in trouble... -
Never, ever cook breast past 165 meat temp!! If in doubt pull it. I have always over cooked breast but the last two times I pulled them at no more than 165. Moist, done and eggcellant!! Some fresh green beans and tator. I love my EGG! :woohoo: Beef was a little raw though.

The rally was ok but been to better. The couple we rode with and us made our own good time. Did see a good blues concert (Johney Lang) but it was outside on the river the mayflys were so bad they couldn't run the stage lights. What I'm really looking forward to is out trip to N.M,AZ,Utah, and Co. week after next. Just me and the wife and close to 3500 miles in the South West. We really enjoyed it out there last year. This year the only reservation I have is in Gallup N.M at the El Ranchero( They have a web site) after that just ridding till tired. If we want to stay somewhere longer we can. I have tenitave plans but options are open!!

Jake doesn't get nervous seeing all that chicken??
-
Can I come fish in your pond? I promise I will throw them back.... :P
-
Less bird competition for him!
-
Your welcome to fish, just don't let my mom catch you. That's "her" fishing hole!! :P

That must have been an expensive meal. Six breast equals 3 parrots by my calculations. Amazing. Does it taste like chicken?
