have posted "mom's" iris pics.. this is dad's rose. this climber was at the old home in the dutch country and brought to phila by my grandfather before my father was born [1922] when my grandparents died my dad brought it to his home and it is now at mine. this rose bush is more than 86 years old.

Lovely bill. I have the hyberd roses and most don't make it more than 10 years much less that long. I know alittle about your past and your father from what you have told me and know you treasure that rose bush. Water bed busted, storm knocked out power last night, internet down last two days, and had to mow farm house BUT liver funtion was spot on with me and colesteral was 182, D's upper barium was completly normal and we both had eyes checked today. My dad has glocoma and so far mine are clear. Good lord keeps a blessing us!
