That is one nice cook, Ross!
Thanks! -
We did the grilled romaine for the first time last night also. Brushed with EVOO and balsamic, grilled til' it looked done, like you did. Only thing I added was I toasted some pine nuts and sprinkled the greens with them and some crumbled gorgonzola.
I'll definitely do this again! Maybe find some other lettuces like raddicio, or endive, and make a grilled mixed greens salad. -
Tonia,
That would make a nice tri colored Grilled Salad

I loved those pics.
Funny story, Bente and I were at the CSRA Eggfest and the sponsoring dealer had a hot tub set up and running inside the store at 101*. Terry had the idea that I hot tub a couple of the flat irons steaks I was doing that day just like you do them - just toss the bag into that hot tub.
Since I was using a thick oily marinade in a ziploc bag (not vac sealed) we decided it probably wasn't the best idea in case my bag spring a leak. But we did decide to do it next time and I am going to double vac seal some steaks the day before. -
Darnoc,
What do you think?
