Just thought I would share my attempt at making some bread on the egg.
Recipe:
Tassajara Yeasted Bread from the Tassajara Bread Book
The Egg setup:
Platesetter (legs down)
Pizza stone setting on small spacers
Indirect at 350 Dome for 1 hour
Overall I think it turned out well. I don't know if I care for the taste of the recipe, but it cooked up pretty nice.
Here it is coming off the egg:
Here is the first slice:
I will be trying some other breads in the future.

I picked up the book at a Borders bookstore. I was very scientific while choosing the book. It was a lot smaller than most of the other bread books. Therefore it appeared to be less overwhelming.

AZRP, Thanks. It was a first attempt at bread in general regardless of cooking element. Having seen some of the pictures in the forum inspired me to give it a go. I'll have to give most of the credit to the egg. I have had my LBGE for about a month and a half and everything has turned out great. Part of me feels like I'm cheating because cooking on it is so easy.

The Egg is great, but hey, it aint that much better than an oven, so credit yourself for the awesome looking bread. -RP
