Planking chicken

Never used a plank before. Is it only for fish or can you use it on chicken thighs? Will it get any extra flavor or am I just wasting time. A little advise would be appreciated. Thanx

    Works great for brie, fish and smashed potaotes. Why not Chicken?

    Chicken, Pieces, Planked


    Ingredients
    1 Whole whole roaster (about 4lbs.) cut into 8 pieces
    1 Tsp Ground Pepper
    2 Tbs Course Salat
    2 onions quartered length wise
    5 Sprigs Thyme
    10 Cloves cloves of garlic




    Preparation
    1 Pat chicken dry. Brush chicken with butter and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Arrange onions, garlic and thyme under and over the chicken on board. After twenty minutes baste again and continue cooking until done.
