I'm new to the forum, so first let me say "Hello everybody". For my first post I wanted to show some pictures of what I had to do by myself this morning. I have an XL egg, and I did not know about setting it onto a paving stone. Lesson learned.... the table WILL catch fire. I knew I had to get a paving stone under it before I could use it again, but I didn't have anyone readily available to help me. Weighing 200lbs, being down in a table hole, and no handles to grab onto makes it difficult to do even WITH help.
Here is how I managed to get it done.

As they say there is nothing like American ingenuity and the table also looks great.

Welcome, nice looking table, I like the addition of the lattice to enclose the table.
Novel solution to a frequent problem. I see the strap on the front going through the lower vent but I can't imagine what you did with the strap on the back.

I just wrapped it under and around the two hinges.

WELCOME!! Great improvising with the strap. That wood underneath the egg definately has an unhealthy tan. I'm glad you caught it when you did!
The table is really sharp! Where do you hail from? -
I really like your table design, do you have more pictures of it? I've been trying to come up with a similar approach for my first table. Nice work!Large BGE and a couple non-greenies

I use a large screwdriver or pry bar to lift the egg and put feet under it. Or re-position the feet.
