High Def Video on Cooking Ribs

After many years of wanting to create a good video on cooking ribs, I guess the new Sony High Def camera was all I needed to get the job done. Thanks to Dr. BBQ for his fine book and recipe, the Mother Ship for making a fine cooker, Shotgun Fred for his wonderful Guru ProCom4 and you all, for putting up with my stupid questions over the years. Hopefully, you will like the video. Ideally, if you are new to Eggin' this video will show you how great ribs are done and make your first cook a successful one. The video is in High Definition and if you have a monitor that will go 1280 or higher, you can really get some neat views. Since the file is large, it might require you to pause the video and let your computer/connection speed catch up. Anyway, pop a cold one, sit back and enjoy the show.

That's a great video Phil. That camera is amazing.

I just did ribs this weekend too. I got to try foiling with honey and brown sugar. I usually just do the apple juice when I foil but that looked good.

I read about your camera on the web and it's a beaut! Unfortunately it's out of my price range so I am considering the Canon HV30.

The video was "killer!" What a great way to explain
BBQ cooking. I'll be trying the rib recipe this weekend uncle Phil. By the way, the property onHarbor Dr. lloks really rice. I live here in the east bay of
northern California, and was trying to guess the asking
price of that home in Florida?? Even with the current
conditions in real estate here in the bay area, I'm sure that prices in Florida are much lower.
Can you give me an idea on the price of this one?

Glad your monitor is working well and my video was the first HD you saw on it. I just bought this amazing camera and would love to do more of this work. It takes a lot of time to write, shoot and especially edit the video even with the tapeless format;everything records on a 16GB chip! I am having a great time with the camera and the food!
