I was really pullin' for my fellow Vandy grad today - thought he was going to come out fighting hard, especially after the eagle on 2, but it wasn't meant to be. Congrats to Immelman, though - he played a steady game.
Made some Snedekurgers tonight in Snedeker's honor, though. Us Vandy boys got to stick together.
Market beef from Publix, Dizzy Cow Lick, goat cheese tucked under CWM's signature onion. Good stuff.
Here's a close up for Lawn Boy.
Cheers,
TRex

Awesome looking burgers. Will have to try those out!!
-
My wife is scrapbooking behind me and just saw those burgers and said...that's our lunch next Saturday...the onions on top are an excellent idea, and we haven't heard the last of Brad I suspect. I'mn thinking that his sponsorship stock went up about 10,000 percent today...Visit my blog, dedicated to my Big Green Egg Recipies at http://www.bigtsbge.blogspot.com You can also follow my posts on FaceBook under the name Keep On Eggin' or the link http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Keep-On-Eggin/198049930216241

Nice! Thats going on the list.

I had a few burgers today also. Didn't look quite THAT tasty though. Wifey still liked them, and I try to keep her happy.
-
Just be careful on the filp!

Yes, I was extremely proud of Brandt - not a bad show for his first pro outting at the National.
I can't take credit for the onion on top - I first saw Car Wash Mike do it, and have been doing it every since. It's a wonderful way to do burgers.
Cheers,
jason -
I guess I was trying to remember "Buddy Lawn" and "Lawn Boy" is what came out. I kinda like it though
cheers mike,

I do miss my good Texas folk - Mike, am I going to see you at Eggtoberfest this year?
best,
jason -
Thanks! But the onion idea I got from Car Wash Mike - and, well, I like goat cheese - seemed to be a sensible addition.
Stay cool,
Jason -
They iz gooood - dat's for sure!
Jason -
If you're keeping the wife happy, those burgers are tasty enough!
Cheers!

Yeah Trex..the boy just choked a lil bit..but he kept his head up..represented his home well and will be back at it...my son in law went to Vandy and I live near Nashville, so can empathize with your sentiments..however, as a KY fan..cant go too far in my empathy!! ..Brandt showed well and did a great job this week...wish he coulda at least tied Tigger..but oh well..there will be other days ..btw..burgers look great!
-
Nice! Which side geauxs down first?
-
Only if it's in San Antonio, My Good Friend.
Mike -
Whereabouts near Nashville?
Kentucky fan, eh? Hmmmm.
Cheers,
jason -
I could really go for a fest in San Antonio. One shot and I could really liven up that neighborhood. That and get Marina going. :woohoo:
Mike -
The onionLESS side geauxs down first, followed by the onion side. I do a second flip to put the onion side back up top, just to make sure the onion is still intact, and, well, for the pictures! :woohoo:
Cheers,
jason -
I second that vote. Come on, Lawn Boy, get those wheels a'turnin'!! :woohoo:
-
hehe..oh yeah..born n bread..bleed blue ..near BG, bout an hour north of Nashville...but I was pullin for the Vandy boy today
-
Huh? Oh No...I'm not going there. However,.....it would be kinda fun.
-
I do too :woohoo:
My wife's cousin goes to our church and last year he did lawns/snow removal/other stuff until he got a job with the county. He still does the church's lawn care and I call him "yard boy".....that or mister clean as you can see your reflection on his head. :P
