Table designs

I purchased my first Green Egg a medium. I was thinking about buying the table for it, but frankly not that impressed with their design. I am planning on making a table for the egg. Has anyone found any links that might give me some good ideas?

TNW table gallery should have something that will get you headed in the right direction. The dimensions BGE uses in their medium table plan may be helpful.

I am just finishing up a custom egg island for myself in atlanta....made out of old deck boards I pulled up. the center is 35x35 with 2 islands that angle back. i think it is a great design but im not sure can i send you some photos. this thing is very nice...i think

I was going to build a table for my medium but decided to get the nest. I would highly recommend a nest over a table as it allows you to easily move the egg to avoid wind and weather issues. If it isn't that windy where you live or the egg is in a sheltered area that probably could justify a table instead.

I believe my retired father got the design for his medium table from Naked Whiz as well. It worked out so well, he went ahead and built me one too! Man, I guess he egg-ppreciates my cooking him into purchasing a green egg for the folks!
